| Details Cont'd: Forest which sets alongside the base. Col. Halt was out in the woods investigating. Then, later that night, another set of lights was reported and I and Sergeant Jim Penniston was sent out to investigate.
When we arrived in a clearing, we saw an orange light in the distance and it started moving down towards us. I made a comment to Sergeant Peniston that I would like to get a closer look and he said, "Go for it!" As we started moving towards the light, it looked like it started moving towards us. As we approached the light, it suddenly flew over both of us, at which point I dropped to the ground and blacked out, or so I thought.
I have no memory of this, but my investigating partner said that as the object flew over, I actually "phased away" and came back! He said that I just vanished into thin air, and then I was back!
Well, we started walking back to the base and the strangest thing was that neither of us remembered anything from that moment on until the next day. Many people say that I was abducted, or taken, but in all honesty, I still really don't know what happened and the event has haunted me my whole life!
Since this event took place, I have had some serious health issues. My doctor found that I had a heart murmer, which I had never had before. I have had some strange eye problems, and at one point my gums turned white! In 2012, I went and filed a claim to obtain Veteran's military disability assistance benefits at the Veteran's Administration here in Illinois. When they began to investigate my eligibility, I was shocked to find that my records had been sealed and that they were now considered classified and top secret.
In addition, after going in to see the Doctor and answering a few questions regarding my claim for a nurse, she suddenly stopped me and said, "Hold on a second. There's an issue... According to our records, you didn't enter the Air Force until 1982. We have no medical records going back before that time." That's when the 'stonewalling' started.
I decided I needed help with all of this and I was able to obtain assistance from a Senior Staffer of the late Senator John McCain. Cheryl Bennett, a resident of Flagstaff, Arizona, was able to use her skills to navigate the military beaurocracy and get me my benefits. She later said that of all the Veterans that she had worked with, trying to obtain my records for me was the most painful thing she'd ever had to do.
Never having heard of the Rendalsham incident prior to meeting me, she is now convinced that it happened. This from seeing the results of my injuries following the Rendalsham incident, as well as the level of secrecy over my medical file. She has no doubt that the military is still engaged in a coverup and said that it's scary. She wonders what else the military might be hiding from the American people.

| Details Cont'd: clouds caught my eye. I focused on that spot then noticed several objects were diving in and out of the cloud. One at a time they would dive in an arc fashion. Not strait up and dowm. The sun would reflect off of them. As soon as this would occur they would stairstep or sway back and forth upon the ascent back into the cloud. They were all taking turns doing this manuever. There are things moving about in our atmosphere that we are not being informed about and I know what I saw. I just don't know what it was I saw. Ben |

| Details Cont'd: would be perfectly still one moment and the next they appeared to be chasing one another in every direction and at unbelievable speeds and then suddenly stopping.
My husband was a skeptic, until he saw them, but not anymore. In fact, he was talking with a co-worker about this and he and a friend had a similar experience while driving one night. We haven't seen them since, but we look up frequently. Our children know about our story, and they watch the sky with us, waiting for our next encounter. Tanya M. |

| Details Cont'd: They were coming down over the Expressway directly in front of my car. I drove right through them and they vanished. That was the end of it, or so I thought. I got home that night around 5:15 PM on a Friday evening. I went into my apartment to get ready for a dinner party that same night.
Once inside, I must have nodded off, because I lost conciousness for what I thought was just a moment, or two. As I came to, I looked at the clock and it was now 5:33 PM. I showered, changed clothes, and turned on the radio. I noticed that the local station was playing gospel music.
I then phoned my girlfriend to let her know I was coming over to pick her up for the party that night. She was very angry with me and wanted to know where I had been. Much to my astonishment, it was now Sunday evening, two days later! I never spoke of this to anyone... until now. Frank

| Details Cont'd: fireworks at my window! Seeing nothing, I went back to bed and a bit later I awoke to the feeling of something touching me, high up on my leg. At the same time, and as my eyes widened, I felt as if someone was watching me from the darkened bathroom, but thought that I was just being paranoid.
Suddenly, I saw a 'watery' figure emerge from the darkness that began to talk to me in my head, telepathically. It asked me about the least threatening person I had ever known and instantly, I thought of a lady I loved dearly in my family. The watery form then transformed and took on the appearance of my great grandmother! At this point, I wanted to wake the person next to me in the bed, but I found myself paralyzed and powerless to do anything to get his attention to help me.
After a brief period of anxiety, I soon felt a calming sensation while at the same time this entity began to explain why it had appeared to me. It told me that their species was here to collect DNA samples from ours in order to produce a body in which they could live on planet Earth. Apparently, their planet is becoming uninhabitable due to the scarcity of an element they need and becoming dangerously rare within their planetary system.
The thought then crossed my mind as to whether, or not, the body they were trying to create would it look exactly like me, using my DNA. It acknowledged that this would be the case and I thought to myself, "Well, what if we run into each other?" I suppose, considering the reason behind my question and thinking that I was uncomfortable at the possibility of 'running into myself', it then wanted to know where else on Earth that I might feel most comfortable living and I said, "Idaho, or somewhere out west."
When I inquired as to why it had chosen me, it said they could tell I was a peaceful person, and that, at some point I would have all of the answers, that there would be a meeting in Chicago's Grant Park near the Prudential Building, and that I would come to understand. While the conversation included many other details, the last message it imparted to me was that they would return.
By the way, I know that this truly happened, physically, because the following morning the alarm clock was under the bed and unplugged. My partner, who was with me on the night that this happen can at least verify this much.
As of the writing of this report, I do feel that I understand things much better and I'm not afraid of UFOs or aliens. My personal experience resembled what the alien looked like in "Contact", the movie with Jody Foster. I saw this being before the movie came out in 1997 and it brought tears to my eyes when I saw it in the movie a couple of years later. Tanya M. |

| Details Cont'd: person to whom he told this story, as far as she knew. It was a clear day and they went out far enough that they couldn't see the Chicago skyline. Before long they noticed a "cigar shaped object" off in the distance towards the middle of the lake. They originally thought it was a dirigible/air ship from Great Lakes Naval Airstation, located a 30-45 minute drive north of Chicago, and they didn't think much of it. But, they soon noticed it was getting closer and growing larger and seemed to be following them.
Now, all three of these guys were WWII Veterans. All had seen heavy combat, could identify airplanes, knew what barrage balloons looked like, etc.. They couldn't figure out what this thing was, but as it ever closer at some point it started circling their boat. It was huge and silent and they were speechless! None of them had ever seen anything like it and it scared them pretty badly. It finally went away after thirty minutes.
Afterwards, the three of them made a pact to never tell the story as they were afraid of being rediculed in their small community. My mother said my dad did go to the library in town immediately after the encounter and checked out the only two books on UFOs they had there. He read them, took them back, and never said another word about it. My dad was a stoic guy and very grounded in reality. I believe the story and also believe they are out there. Anonymous
EDITOR'S NOTE: The witness was unsure of the exact date as he was relaying a story told to him by his father who experienced the close encounter in the mid 1950's. Further more, the proximity of the craft may suggest that a contact or abduction experience may have taken place with the witnesses on the boat, but this is speculation based on the observations noted above. However, it does fit the observed abduction profile for that period in history. |
