Details Cont'd: undertaken by the newly established Allied Command Atlantic (ACLANT), one of the two principal military commands of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). Eighty thousand men, over two hundred ships, and one thousand aircraft participated in Mainbrace. During the time between September the 14th and the 25th of 1952, several eyewitness consisting of military personel on board several Navy vessels reported seeing multiple round, sphere-like objects. They were said to be strange, round craft that were observed to fly above and below the water.

EDITOR'S NOTE: Unidentified objects that appear mainly under the water are refered to as Unidentified Submerible Objects, or USOs. The Mainbrace incidents made international headlines and ever since USOs have become part of UFO lore.

There have been a number of UFO Reports received from Norway and we are working to add those into this forum of our website as quickly as possible. The number of Norway UFO sightings are growing every year as more and more people turn their attention skyward. Additionally, many people now have a camera in their hands and frequently capture incredible footage of very strange and unexplained or unidentified flying objects in the Norway day and night time sky. Norway residents are becoming more saavy to the fact that the experiences others have reported are not just a figment of their imagination and are certainly not a matter of mass halucination. A large percentage of the United States population now believes that alien contact may have, or might be presently occuring. Furthermore, the government has revealed that UFOs are real, now referring to them as "UAP" which stands for Unexplained Aerial Phenomena. This has added much credibility to the phenomenon as a whole and it is high time that Norway UFO reports be taken seriously and given the scientific attention that they deserve. There has been much evidence to support the existence of Norway UFOs gathered through the years by giants in the field of research including the late J. Allen Hynek, who was involved with the Government's "Project Blue Book" and later to become the Founder of the Center for UFO Studies, now located in Chicago, Illinois.
