As we approached it the object appeared very metallic in the headlights of the car. It hovered over the highway at about eight feet, and was approximately the size of a basketball, or slightly larger. As the car in front of me passed directly underneath it, the object did not move at all. It hovered completely motionless even when the car passed under it.
This happened around 4:40 PM and as soon as I got home I reported it to Fox 11 news as well as some other stations. This was by far the strangest thing I have ever seen in my thirty-three years on the planet. Whatever this was, it was silent, motionless, metallic, and unaffected by air movement. Shaun and Leonora
We were now back on our originally planned route. As we were driving, suddenly, we were shocked to see a shining UFO with a silvery "energy field." It just "appeared" over the road. It wasn't scary for either of us as we both had a familiar "feeling" about what was happening. We both had flashbacks, in that moment, which helped to explain the mysteries of the previous night.
We looked at each other at the same time and were both now very much aware that we had previously been stopped by this same object. We remembered that as we stepped out of the vehicle on the night prior, a group of aliens had approached the truck. Until I saw a taller being in the midst of the group, I at first thought this was a group of children.
This taller being seemed half-human and half-alien. These creatures led us away in the direction of their craft. Though frightened in one way, we both felt that we were in no danger and that "they" would not hurt us. I felt a sense of being protected by these strange entities. I had taken a stumble while we were making our way to the ship, but some type of "energy" kept me from falling, or being hurt.
We were led into a room with curved walls and placed in chairs which resembled the fold-back type used by dentists. Suddenly, there was a feeling of being "immobilized" and we were then examined. They began by putting an implant into my nostril, and remarkably, there was no pain.
Then, an instrument of some kind was injected into the side of my neck, and another one at the top of my chest. I felt that these areas had some sort of medical significance with the placement related to three glands... the pituitary, the thyroid, and the thymus. John had enough medical knowledge to know the three glands regulated human metabolism, growth, and immunity.
After the completion of the tests, there was a strange sense of "bonding" with these strange beings. In my mind, they said that we would meet again. And, indeed, when we returned home, things took an even more bizarre turn.
In the day sthat followed, I noticed a gradual improvement in my overall health. My fingernails and hair grew faster and thicker, and a scar on my forehead began to fade, and almost disappear. Although I was a smoker, struggling with my desire to stop, I was now able to quit without a thought! For us, this close encounter seemed to have a very happy ending! John Salter, Jr.
