Details Cont'd: straining my eyes to watch them. They moved ever so slowly toward the southeast. You could barely tell they were moving, but they were. Without a doubt, these were some sort of unknown craft. They could not have been balloons because the wind was blowing around 10 MPH at ground level. They were higher up and if they had been balloons they would have moved extremely fast. I called to my girlfriend to show her along with my neighbor. Both withnessed them just as I did and questioned as to what they could be. My only thought was UFOs! Has anyone else seen these types of objects? Michael

At approximately 10:30 PM myself and two friends were outside. I was star gazing and saw two 'stars' red in color. Puzzled, I asked my two friends to look at them and a huge rectangle light lit up on what was clearly now...

Details Cont'd: a craft of some sort. It stayed for several seconds and it seemed that something was moving inside the light. Then a huge red light lit up inside the object just left of center. The outer shape of the craft could not be determined due to the sky being so black. the object was motionless until the light went out and suddenly smaller red lights were visible. It began to move and slowly went off to the left. We ran towards it to get a longer view and for a moment there seemed to be more than one of them! For a few seconds, there appeared to be two more of these craft. They seemed to be disguising themselves as stars! The object then moved toward and directly over us. We counted nine red lights beneath it, two were blinking on the tail end, but not as bright as a regular aircraft. Also, an aircraft usually have some white or green lights on it as well, but there were none to be found on this object. There was no sound it was very low to the ground. In the days that followed, I began to think of the scale and size of the craft based on its proximity to the mountains around us. As I pondered this, I was amazed by the apparent size! It must have been between seventy five and one hundred yards in length. This is just a guess, of course, but I am fairly certain. The object hovered over us for a few moments before we lost sight of it. I was amazed by this and have two other witnesses who saw the exact same thing. Anthony

There have been a number of UFO Reports received from New Jersey and we are working to add those into this forum of our website as quickly as possible. The number of New Jersey UFO sightings are growing every year as more and more people turn their attention skyward. Additionally, many people now have a camera in their hands and frequently capture incredible footage of very strange and unexplained or unidentified flying objects in the New Jersey day and night time sky. New Jersey residents are becoming more saavy to the fact that the experiences others have reported are not just a figment of their imagination and are certainly not a matter of mass halucination. A large percentage of the United States population now believes that alien contact may have, or might be presently occuring. Furthermore, the government has revealed that UFOs are real, now referring to them as "UAP" which stands for Unexplained Aerial Phenomena. This has added much credibility to the phenomenon as a whole and it is high time that New Jersey UFO reports be taken seriously and given the scientific attention that they deserve. There has been much evidence to support the existence of New Jersey UFOs gathered through the years by giants in the field of research including the late J. Allen Hynek, who was involved with the Government's "Project Blue Book" and later to become the Founder of the Center for UFO Studies, now located in Chicago, Illinois. It was he who came up with the classification system for Close Encounters with UFOs and their occupants.
