Cullman, Alabama |
I was visiting my girlfriend Shannon at her brother's house located at the intersection of I-65 and US Highway 157 in the Woodland Heights neighborhood. I was outside in the lower drive cleaning out my car while she... |
| Details Cont'd: was getting things clean in the downstairs area just inside. I noticed that a cloud that was acting peculiar. This "cloud" was moving independent of the mostly cloudy sky. As I continued watching it, I quickly realized that it was not a cloud at all and I found myself looking at a disc. It was the underside of a silver, disc-shaped object and it was utilizing some kind of cloaking technology as it took on the appearance of it's surroundings. The craft came to a stop directly over my head and this was my first daylight sighting.
I quickly called for Shannon to come out and see it as well. When she came outside I pointed to the perfect circle above our heads and said, "Look!". She said, "Look at what?" I said, "Look for it in the clouds!" Then, Shannon witnessed the same phenomenon in the sky over our heads. Beau B. |

I was out at Slick Rock Campground and saw a line of lights moving at different speeds, fast then slow, or just stopping. There was a strange humming sound associated with the objects. I took a picture on my iPhone, and... |
| Details Cont'd: I used a filter to make out shapes in the image. I may have even gotten a picture of something inside the craft! We went out again the next night to see if we might see it again, but nothing appeared. James

My kids and I have seen these red and blue flashing lights. They first appear to be stars then we soon realize they are NOT! They hover above tree level then start moving and there are so many! I tried to show my neighbors they just think I am on drugs. We just want to know what they are and why they are here. Destinie |

Montgomery, Alabama |
At around 2:45 AM, a pilot by the name of Clarence Chiles, along with his co-pilot John Whitted, experienced a large UFO while flying an Eastern Airlines DC-3 from Houston, Texas to Atlanta, Georgia. At around five... |
| Details Cont'd: thousand feet, over the city of Montgomery, they saw a huge cigar-shaped object which barely missed colliding with their aircraft. Prior to this near collision, the first part of their journey had been pleasant and uneventful. But, all that was about to change!
Their relaxed cruising mode was interrupted by the sight of what first appeared to be a dullish-red, glowing object, located directly in their designated flight path. Still at a distance, the two pilots first impression was that they were looking at a jet, heading right for their position! The glowing object barely missed them, passing on their starboard side at a distance of about one thousand feet.
The two pilots both agreed that the object had no wings, or tail section. Both also agreed seeing at least two rows of windows from which appeared a glow like that of "burning magnesium." The object had a pointed nose section, and there was a "bluish glow" running the full length of the craft across the bottom. An "orange-red" exhaust was seen extending out of the back of the craft for about the same length of the craft itself, estimated to be similar to that of a B-29 bomber, but wider.
Captain Chiles' first reaction was to turn his DC-3 off to the left, as the object seemed to be coming slightly to his right. Both pilots clearly witnessed the oncoming craft do an abrupt pull-up, just after missing them. Only Whitted was able to view the object as it seemed to momentarily disappear upon making a rapid, vertical ascent. He later added, "the object vanished instantaneously after its sharp pull-up."
This sighting was fully reported to Eastern Airlines officials and to Project Sign which was the U.S. Government's official UFO program at the time. BJ Booth
